Meet Andy
Born and raised in the Czech Republic, he is a two-year old German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix.
We are proud to offer this unique canine. This new breed is not a ‘registered’ breed yet, but one that is quickly gaining a lot attention. The Czech army has recently been using this new breed because it combines the best traits from each breed. The Belgian Malinois traits offer more speed, agility, and more energy and endurance. While the German Shepherd brings the strong skeleton, bigger head and jaw, and overall strength and intelligence. In Czech Republic army, referred to as F1, the army is currently using about a third of these new dogs.
Andy’s father is a purebred German Shepherd and his mother is a purebred Belgian Malinois. Currently, Andy’s father and his brothers are serving in the Czech. army. Andy has trained for the Czech army and has passed his military exams. But since he has a slightly calm personality, he has the ideal temperament for a family friendly protection dog.
Andy is an intelligent and clever young dog. At first glance Andy’s dominate jaw line and gold, black, and light red coat and markings, and his strong body of 80lbs, give the first impression of a German Shepherd. But with a second look, his other physical characteristics come into play. His shiny fur coats his muscular yet, slender body from snout to tail. Against his darker Malinois snout, his intimidating and healthy white teeth shine. His eyes are a deep chestnut brown, and his gold and black ears match his large paws. Handsome on the outside, Andy is also just as pleasing in character.
Andy enjoys being with people, children, and is well mannered around other animals. Aside from socializing and obedience, he also has a strong prey drive. Andy is quick and focused on ball play and training.
With his military training experience and calm manner, and rare pedigree, Andy would make an excellent protection dog for a family interested in a unique breed.
